What it does
Alpha-ketoglutarate is a naturally occurring molecule central to the Krebs cycle, the metabolic process your cells use to produce energy. It also serves as a cofactor for enzymes involved in DNA demethylation, connecting cellular metabolism directly to epigenetic regulation.
As we age, circulating AKG levels decline. Supplementing with calcium alpha-ketoglutarate restores AKG in a stable, longevity-oriented calcium salt form.
Why this form
Ca-AKG delivers alpha-ketoglutarate directly in a calcium salt form, without relying on the arginine blend (AAKG) commonly used in sports nutrition. This is a longevity-oriented delivery, not a performance-oriented one.
AKG is produced naturally by every cell in the human body as part of the citric acid cycle. Supplemental Ca-AKG is produced through chemical synthesis.
Hallmark context

What it does
Pterostilbene is a polyphenol found naturally in blueberries. It belongs to the same family as resveratrol but shows roughly 4x the oral bioavailability of resveratrol in published pharmacokinetic studies, along with a significantly longer half-life, meaning more of the compound reaches your cells and stays active longer.
Pterostilbene supports sirtuin proteins (particularly SIRT1), a family of enzymes involved in DNA repair, mitochondrial function, and cellular stress resistance. These are the same pathways engaged by caloric restriction.
Why this form
Selected over the more well-known resveratrol for its superior metabolic stability and roughly 4x the oral bioavailability. Resveratrol is more famous. Pterostilbene is better built to survive digestion.
Found naturally in blueberries (Vaccinium spp.), grapes, and the heartwood of the Indian kino tree (Pterocarpus marsupium).

What it does
Cycloastragenol is a triterpenoid saponin derived from Astragalus membranaceus, a plant with a long history in traditional Chinese medicine. It is one of a small number of compounds studied for its role in telomere biology. Telomeres are protective caps at the ends of chromosomes that shorten with each cell division. When they become critically short, cells enter senescence or die.
Why this form
A rare and specialized compound that adds a differentiated telomere-biology component uncommon in most daily longevity formulas.
Extracted from the root of Astragalus membranaceus, a perennial plant native to northern China and Mongolia.
Hallmark context
200 mg

Hallmark context
350 mg
What it does
NMN is a nucleotide that serves as a direct precursor to NAD+, one of the most critical molecules in human biology. NAD+ is required for hundreds of metabolic reactions including mitochondrial energy production, DNA repair, and sirtuin activation.
NAD+ levels decline significantly with age. By your 50s, circulating NAD+ may be half of what it was in your 20s.
The NMN-to-NAD+ conversion consumes methyl groups, which is why we paired it with 5-MTHF and methylcobalamin in the same capsule to replenish what gets used.
Why this form
Selected over NR, niacin, and NAD+ itself for its direct conversion pathway (one enzymatic step from NAD+) and growing body of human clinical data. Beta-NMN is the bioactive isomer.
Occurs naturally in small amounts in broccoli, cabbage, avocado, and edamame. Supplemental NMN is produced through enzymatic biosynthesis.
Hallmark context
50 mg
What it does
DescriptioApigenin inhibits CD38, an enzyme that degrades NAD+. As we age, CD38 expression increases, accelerating NAD+ depletion. By inhibiting CD38, apigenin preserves the NAD+ that NMN (Energize) is working to restore.
NMN adds NAD+. Apigenin reduces the rate at which it is broken down. Together they support both sides of NAD biology across capsules.
Apigenin also has calming properties and supports healthy sleep architecture.n.
Why this form
Included specifically for CD38 inhibition, creating a direct synergy with NMN. Also supports downstream inflammatory modulation alongside Rhodiola.
Found in chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla), parsley (Petroselinum crispum), and celery (Apium graveolens).

What it does
Rhodiola rosea is an adaptogenic herb used for centuries to combat fatigue and improve stress resilience. It modulates the HPA axis, helping the body respond more efficiently to stress rather than masking fatigue with stimulation.
One of the primary feel-factor ingredients. Works synergistically with apigenin for complementary stress resilience.
Why this form
Root extract standardized for active rosavins and salidroside, the compounds responsible for adaptogenic properties.
Extracted from the root of Rhodiola rosea, a succulent plant growing at high altitudes in arctic and mountainous regions of Europe and Asia.
Hallmark context

What it does
EGCG is the most studied polyphenol in green tea. It activates AMPK, a cellular energy sensor regulating metabolic balance, and supports antioxidant defense via the Nrf2 pathway.
Works synergistically with Rhodiola in the same capsule, combining metabolic signaling with adaptogenic resilience.
Why this form
Standard EGCG degrades rapidly in the gut with poor bioavailability. Liposomal encapsulation protects the compound through digestion and significantly improves absorption.
Primary catechin in green tea (Camellia sinensis). Liposomal delivery wraps the compound in a phospholipid layer that survives digestion.
Hallmark context
500 mcg
What it does
Folate is essential for one-carbon metabolism, DNA synthesis, and methylation. An estimated 40-60% of the population carries MTHFR gene variations that impair conversion of standard folic acid.
Paired with methylcobalamin in the same capsule, these two active B vitamins support the methylation cycle that NMN-to-NAD+ conversion depends on.
Why this form
Provided as 5-methyltetrahydrofolate calcium, the biologically active form. Bypasses the MTHFR conversion bottleneck, ensuring usable folate regardless of genetic background.
5-MTHF calcium is the crystalline calcium salt of the naturally occurring L-form of 5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid.
Hallmark context
200 mcg
What it does
B12 is required for myelin synthesis, red blood cell formation, and methionine metabolism. It works directly with folate in the methylation cycle regulating gene expression, detoxification, and neurotransmitter balance.
Particularly important for individuals with MTHFR variations where the methylation pathway is already under strain.
Why this form
Provided as methylcobalamin, the active coenzyme form. Standard cyanocobalamin must be converted and contains a cyanide molecule requiring detoxification. Methylcobalamin is directly usable.
Naturally occurring form of B12 found in animal-derived foods. Supplemental methylcobalamin produced through fermentation.
Hallmark context
50 mcg (2000 IU)
What it does
Your body produces vitamin D3 naturally when ultraviolet light hits your skin. It is the only nutrient humans are designed to synthesize from sunlight. But modern indoor lifestyles mean most people no longer produce enough.
D3 functions more like a hormone than a vitamin, regulating over 1,000 genes. Deficiency affects an estimated 40% of U.S. adults.
Works in a four-ingredient synergy chain: magnesium (Core) activates D3, which increases calcium absorption from Ca-AKG (Core). K2 (Protect) then directs calcium to bones rather than soft tissue.
Why this form
Cholecalciferol from vegan lichen source. D3 raises serum levels more effectively than D2. Most D3 supplements use lanolin (sheep wool); ours is plant-based.
The human body synthesizes D3 from UVB sunlight exposure. Supplemental D3 is typically derived from lanolin (sheep wool). Ours is derived from lichen, a plant-based source, making it suitable for vegan diets.

What it does
Curcumin is the primary bioactive in turmeric and one of the most studied plant compounds in inflammation research. It modulates NF-kB, a master regulator of inflammatory gene expression.
Why this form
Standard curcumin has low oral bioavailability. Liposomal delivery was selected to improve its formulation and absorption characteristics.
Extracted from the rhizome of Curcuma longa (turmeric), native to South and Southeast Asia.
Hallmark context
Glucoraphanin 70 mg + Myrosinase 50 mg + Sodium Ascorbate 65 mg (Yields ~10-15 mg sulforaphane)
What it does
Sulforaphane is one of the most potent activators of Nrf2, the master switch for your body's antioxidant and detoxification defense system. But preformed sulforaphane is chemically reactive and degrades quickly. Preformed sulforaphane is chemically reactive and can present stability challenges in finished supplements.
Instead of stabilizing an unstable molecule, we deliver the two components your body needs to generate sulforaphane itself. Glucoraphanin is the stable precursor. Myrosinase is the enzyme that converts it. When you take the capsule, the enzyme meets the precursor in your digestive tract and produces fresh sulforaphane on demand.
The Protect capsule uses a delayed-release design specifically to protect this system. Sulforaphane generation is more efficient in the intestinal environment. The delayed-release capsule slows stomach opening and reduces premature acid exposure, giving glucoraphanin and myrosinase the best conditions to do their work.
Why this form
Glucoraphanin and myrosinase generate sulforaphane in the body rather than relying on an unstable preformed version. A delayed-release capsule carries them past stomach acid, and sodium ascorbate supplies the cofactor myrosinase needs.
Glucoraphanin from broccoli seeds (Brassica oleracea). Myrosinase from mustard seed (Sinapis alba).

What it does
Berberine activates AMPK, the same metabolic sensor activated by exercise and caloric restriction. It supports healthy glucose metabolism, lipid balance, and cellular energy regulation.
Berberine also has well-documented effects on gut microbiome composition. Some researchers believe the microbiome interaction is a primary driver of its metabolic benefits.
Why this form
Dihydroberberine is berberine's active metabolite, with roughly 5x the absorption of standard berberine. In a published human crossover study, 200 mg of dihydroberberine produced dramatically higher serum berberine than 500 mg of standard berberine — which is why we use less of it.
Berberine is found in goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis), barberry (Berberis vulgaris), and Chinese goldthread (Coptis chinensis). Dihydroberberine is its reduced metabolite.

What it does
Essential for methylation, DNA synthesis. 40-60% of people carry MTHFR variations impairing folic acid conversion. Paired with B12 to support the methylation cycle NMN depends on.
Why this form
5-methyltetrahydrofolate calcium bypasses the MTHFR bottleneck. Directly usable regardless of genetics.
Crystalline calcium salt of the naturally occurring L-form of 5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid.
Impacted hallmarks
200 mcg
What it does
Required for myelin synthesis, red blood cells, and methionine metabolism. Works with folate in the methylation cycle. Critical for MTHFR carriers.
Why this form
Provided as methylcobalamin, an active coenzyme form of vitamin B12 that can participate directly in B12-dependent metabolic pathways.
Naturally occurring B12 form. Supplemental form produced through fermentation.
Impacted hallmarks
Cholecalciferol from vegan lichen. Raises serum levels more effectively than D2. Plant-based source.
Derived from lichen. Suitable for vegan diets.
Impacted hallmarks

What it does
Inhibits glucuronidation, extending compound circulation time. Enhances absorption across the entire protocol, not just this capsule.
Why this form
Patented extract, minimum 95% piperine. Consistent bioenhancer activity.
Fruit of Piper nigrum (black pepper).
Impacted hallmarks
Glucoraphanin 70 mg + Myrosinase 50mg + Sodium Ascorbate (65 mg)
What it does
Sulforaphane is one of the most potent Nrf2 activators. Instead of unstable preformed sulforaphane, we deliver the precursor plus the enzyme. They meet in your digestive tract and generate fresh sulforaphane on demand.
Delayed-release capsule protects the system from stomach acid for optimal intestinal conversion.
Impacted hallmarks

What it does
Activates AMPK for metabolic regulation. Well-documented gut microbiome effects may be a primary driver of metabolic benefits.
Why this form
Active metabolite with roughly 5x the absorption of standard berberine, so a lower dose delivers more.
Found in goldenseal, barberry, and Chinese goldthread. Dihydroberberine is the reduced metabolite.
Impacted hallmarks

What it does
Spermidine is a naturally occurring polyamine studied in relation to autophagy, cellular recycling, and healthy aging biology. Dietary intake has also been examined in observational studies of healthy aging and mortality.
Why this form
Spermidine trihydrochloride provides a defined, stable form of this naturally occurring polyamine.
Found in wheat germ, soybeans, aged cheese, mushrooms. Produced through fermentation.
Impacted hallmarks

What it does
Curcumin is the primary bioactive in turmeric and one of the most studied plant compounds in inflammation research.
Impacted hallmarks

What it does
Fisetin is a naturally occurring flavonoid found in foods including strawberries and apples. It has been studied for senolytic activity in preclinical models and for its relationship to cellular senescence and age-related biology.
Why this form
Liposomal delivery was selected because fisetin has low native aqueous solubility and limited oral bioavailability.
Found in strawberries, apples, persimmons, onions, cucumbers.
Impacted hallmarks

What it does
Isoquercetin is a glycoside form of quercetin studied for antioxidant, inflammatory-response, and cellular-health pathways. It complements fisetin with a structurally related flavonoid delivered in a more soluble form.
Why this form
The glucose group in isoquercetin improves solubility and absorption characteristics relative to standard quercetin.
Found in onions, apples, tarragon, dill. Quercetin bonded to glucose for solubility.
Impacted hallmarks
